Foster House T-shirt Designs
c. 1977-1979
These designs were done for the Foster
House, the men's dorm that I lived in during my undergraduate studies
at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

This design c. 1979 contains a pentagon reminiscent of Superman, which
adds some feeling of perspective and turns the "T" into an upward arrow.
The break in the "O" and the wedge in the "R" are not ideal, but the
design is not too bad given the time frame and my experience.
This is just a simple use of the font used for early OCR, e.g., bank and
account numbers on your checks. It doesn't really qualify as a design, but
it made the t-shirt, which counts for something so long ago - c. 1977.
